Matsunagahospital

About Us

Established in 1972 as a community-centric hospital, Matsunaga Hospital has been providing medical services now for more than 30 years.

To tell you, I am the son of a ‘village doctor’ and such ‘village doctors’ have been there since the end of the Edo period. Call it fate, I began a new chapter in medical history by becoming one of the first ‘town doctors’. As days passed, I grew old without realising that our hospital had already become an established and well-known hospital in the area.

Let me tell you medicine is a benevolent art. Despite the fact the medical technology is making rapid advancements, it remains universally appealing to humanity since the core of medicine is healing.

That is precisely why ‘medicine’ that once meant only physicians, today refers to the entire gamut of healing technology that includes the assembly of medical professionals with their licenses, techniques and skills.

If you believe in this philosophy, you should visit our hospital as it is an embodiment of this philosophy.

Our Initiatives

Harvesting Solar Energy

We have implemented the use of a clean and renewable resource of energy at our hospital – Solar energy.
We harvest solar energy and use it for various purposes including heating of water.
Also, we harness the waste heat from generators and use it to heat water and in turn, reduce the consumption of gas.
Thus reducing our carbon footprint and moving towards the use of clean energy, contributing towards a green future.
We even take advantage of this system during power failures.

Workshop on fall injury prevention

We took immense pleasure in organising a workshop on ‘preventing fall injuries’ on 26th June 2016. The workshop shed light on preventing injuries such as fractures and ligament tears inflicted by falling down or slipping.
